Here is the blank note from this class – if you were not present today – it’s recommended that you print this out:

Getting Ready for Quadratic Expressions

If you were not present, or were present, but simply want to review what we discussed in class a bit more carefully, please have a look at this completed version of the note:

Opportunity to Learn

Discussing some questions together in class is a great way to get started with a topic.

It’s a bit like watching a movie trailer – it gives you an idea of what the movie is about.

However, to really appreciate a movie, you need to watch more than a couple of minutes of clips – you’ve got to dive in and consume the whole thing!

So on that note – to really master the concepts we discussed today – complete these sections on IXL and earn a “SmartScore” of 80% or better.

IMPORTANT

I do not care how long it takes you to complete these questions.

Go slow to go fast.

It is recommended, although not strictly required, that you write out the questions on paper in your binder, and then submit the questions to IXL simply to check your work.
