Agenda

1. Task: Diagnostic (Practice) Exam
   • Write a diagnostic exam to check your understanding of major topics.
   • This is an MPM2D / Grade 10 Math exam, but it is not the exam our class will write in a few weeks – it is actually an old exam Mr. Gordon gave his MPM2D students at a school he taught at about 15 years ago.
   • The exam you write will be different – it will not simply be these same questions in the same sequence but with “different numbers”.
   • The exam you write will have roughly the same coverage of topics in roughly the same quantity per topic.

Things to do before our next class

• Begin preparing for the final exam.
  • Here is a comprehensive set of review questions; here are the final answers for that review.
  • Perhaps you have already completed the prior set of review questions – here is another set of review questions that you can optionally work with.

  NOTE

  Despite the note at the top of the review materials provided, you will be provided with this formula sheet on the final exam.
